The Platypus Walk
Some of us went on a Platypus walk. the platypus walk was fun even though we didn't see a platypus. We also got some free time.
For our art challenge we made a platypus from recycled materials.

Super Sevens
First we had to read our dreaming story then we went the 'Great Eights' group and did some work on their stories. Then both groups did some paintings on our dreaming story.
Then we went on our walk up Mt Misery. It was a four hour return to the top and back. On the top we had luch where we sat on a big rock. On the way back down my mum slipped over and it was funny. We the went down to the fresh water stream that we could drink out of. I had the most water.
Then we went back to school and it was home time.
The next day we completed the art challenge where we painted some wooden planks.

Eldercare
On the 16th of April we went to Eldercare. We had lots of fun handing out cards to the residents. We also drew some pictures on the cards. We gave the out Easter eggs for Easter. Some of the elderly were hard to talk but we managed. They were really nice and they thanked us for what we had done. We had Mass and there were lots of songs we had to sing.
